Class Descriptions
All Levels Hatha Yoga
This 90 minute all levels class is a vinyasa (flow) class for those with yoga experience and those new to yoga. The routine includes warm ups, sun salutations followed by a unique flow of standing, sitting, and supine poses. Each class is unique but includes pranayama and meditative awareness throughout. New postures are introduced regularly and the class concludes with a relaxation.
Level II Hatha Yoga
Level II This 90 minute Sunday morning class is designed to prepare the body and mind for the week ahead. Pranayama and deep stretches will begin the class followed by an active vinyasa (flow) to deepen the breath, release tension and build stamina. The class will conclude with a 15 min. supported savasana to bring balance to the body, mind and spirit.
Gentle Restorative Yoga
A beginning yoga class incorporating basic breathing practices, fundamental postures and stress management techniques. This is perfect for those new to yoga or those looking for a more gentle practice.Yoga in Sewickley will travel
Our instructors are available to come to your home, office or organization for private or group sessions.Yoga Flow
A flow style class is great for both new students and returning. Class will begin with a warm up, moving into a vinyasa flow where postures are linked together for an energetic practice which will develop both stamina and strength. Session will conclude with a deep relaxation.
